Hut with good terrain for snowkiting

Post by bmratc » Fri Oct 21, 2011 5:45 pm

I was wondering if there are any huts with some good snowkiting terrain nearby. Preferably looking for a large area somewhat flat or with some nice rolling hills, of course not many trees. Thanks for the help.

I am thinking Fowler Hilliard. the terrain falls off in front of the hut but it is wide open and gets a lot of wind

Betty Bear would be a good option as the terrain up near Hagerman Pass is pretty wide open and can be very windy. The other option are the Benedict Huts. The meadows up there around Warren Lakes and the Lakes themselves are wide open but the wind may be hit or miss.

I agree with the Betty Bear choice.
Plenty of open space up there to get crankin'
